Position Overview

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Cycle Counter is responsible for assisting management in the implementation of a formal program to audit all areas related to inventory movement for integrity and accuracy. This individual will perform cycle counts and conduct investigations to identify and eliminate any problems found. This individual will also assist in research and processing of Inventory Adjustments submitted by Operations personnel. This individual will be involved with maintaining inventory accuracy in SAP, including areas such as stock location and bin location.

Duties and Responsibilities

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Follow processes and procedures of Hubbell’s Cycle Count Program. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Monitor and control inventory accuracy. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Complete physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Implement and maintain a filing system of the facts, discrepancies, and issues identified during the cycle counting process, in order to maintain accurate records that can easily be retrieved. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ensure materials are in proper locations. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Report discrepancies of over/under amounts. Publish weekly and monthly inventory metrics. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Enter cycle counts and inventory adjustments in SAP. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Observe all safety rules and support plant-wide Safety initiatives. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Conduct miscellaneous audits.

Skills and Experience

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience with physical inventory counting, and reconciliation is desired. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to operate a scissor lift with provided training. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Effective oral and written communications and presentation skills are essential, as are interpersonal skills . <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Must have language and mathematical skills. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Proficient in computer operation, the ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports is necessary. MS Office software, such as Excel, Word and document retention.<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Working knowledge and understanding of SAP.
