    • Submit to a National Crime Information Center (NCIC) background check and be approved for access to DOD Facilities
    • Have a current and valid driver’s license or identification card and reliable personal transportation

Concrete Finisher Job Responsibilities

  • Build forms, tie rebar, fine grade, and place concrete flatwork
  • Work behind large paving equipment using hand tools and power tools including floats, trowels and screeds.
  • Puddle, vibrate, screed and properly smooth and finish concrete surfaces.
  • Cut and caulk newly placed concrete

Qualifications

  • 1 year (preferred) Concrete Finishing experience – forming, placing and finishing concrete for roads, sidewalks, driveways, curbs, flatwork, and stairs.
  • Basic knowledge of concrete finishing tools and equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively on a team, have good physical stamina and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Concrete Laborer Job Responsibilities

  • Assist our concrete craftsmen with preparing and building forms for concrete work to be poured
  • Assist with unloading, placing and tying rebar
  • Help with the set up and clean-up of jobsite tools, equipment and material
  • Assist jobsite supervisor with any worksite task that is needed for the project at hand
  • Reliable candidates will have the opportunity of on-the-job training to advance to concrete finisher position

Qualifications

  • 1 year (preferred) construction job site experience.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively on a team, have good physical stamina and the ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
