Spallinger Millwright Services (SMS) is a Structural Steel Fabrication and a Millwright Company. We specialize in custom structural steel fabrication for Schools, Hospitals, and Industrial customers. We have been in business for 30 years and are looking for a Pressure vessel Project Manager to add to our team.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to bid, procure material, coordinate manpower (if that is the correct terminology) for project sizes from $1k to $5M. (or whatever range)
• Ability to review engineer prints to perform the bid and execute the project.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects at a time.
• Proficient with computers a plus (excel, word, AutoCAD)
• Ability to communicate with client, engineer, sub-contractors, internal employees
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people in different roles.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• Responsibility of the entire estimate process while potentially working in collaboration with other estimators, sales and project managers to develop a full and complete estimate.
• Evaluation of plans and bid documents to determine level of completion, risk issues (along with the magnitude of such issues) and to develop the necessary questions that may need to be asked for a complete proposal.
