Salary range:

$5,731.49 to $6,422.19 per month.

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt.

Work Hours: Routine 40-Hour work week, overtime may be required.

Position Summary:

Building inspectors examine the construction, alteration, or repair of commercial and residential buildings to ensure compliance with building codes adopted by Pueblo County and the City of Pueblo. Must have a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent in five years of experience in the building construction trade of construction equivalent combination of building construction trade education and minimum of three years building construction trade experience. Must have experience in dealing with public and maintaining temperament during difficult situations. Must obtain or possess ICC Residential Inspector certification before date of hire and be resident of Pueblo County within six months of starting employment.
