Pointers, Cleaners, Caulkers
Craft Pro Masonry Restoration Inc. 69 Zimmerman Lane, Unit A Hulmeville, PA 19047 215-233-3100 www.craftpromasonry.com
Looking for pointers, cleaners, caulkers, bricklayers, scaffolding erectors, and basement waterproofing foremen to join a new industry called, “bowing and deflecting wall professionals”. Double Wythe brick construction was a staple of residential row house construction from 1800 until around 1950. In the late 1800s, 99.5% of all residential row houses were built using this simple technique. These houses were built with a 100-year life expectancy. Most of these houses are at or beyond their predicted lifespan. We have discovered the underlying weaknesses that cause masonry walls to bow and become unsafe. That process is misunderstood, and the current industry lends itself to that misunderstanding. After a 28-year career in this industry and seeing little results with the current services, in the past 7 years, we have learned how to diagnose cracks and crack patterns and have developed many patented systems that strengthen these underlying weaknesses. We cut “the fat” from our services and we are left with repairs that are fast, and easy and they strengthen the original weaknesses in the construction. Our foreman/supervisors make between $50 to $60+ per hour. Experienced laborers start at $25 per hour, but quickly move up. We work 12 months per year and offer a 5% match on our 401k, full benefits, holiday pay, overtime pay, and many other perks to our employees. It can take a pointer, cleaner, and caulker just a short time to learn the services we have developed and perfected. We have started the process of standardizing the diagnostics and repair of double Wythe residential construction. As we were perfecting our services, our prices were dropping, and our employees and our company were making more and more money. We are now looking for the best employees in the business to join our team. You must currently be employed, have a license, have at least 2 years experience as a laborer, basement waterproofing technician, or scaffolding erector, 8 years of experience for a pointer, cleaner, caulker, or 10 years experience for a bricklayer. We have an excellent work environment and there is “no ceiling” for our best employees. We look forward to hearing from you and currently have 3 positions available.
